Economic risk:
Malaysia economic risk remain low as Ringgit
remains stable and inflation remain in the normal level. More and more foreign
investment venturing in the country shows that Malaysia has gain trust from
international markets to become one of the best places in the world to grow
businesses money.
Security risk:
Being an Islamic country, Malaysia could become
the terrorist target like those causalities that happen in the neighboring
countries. Despite being able to show their security quality, Malaysia still
being affected by possible future lower foreign investment into the country
because of investor assumption that it does not safe from terrorist attack.
Political risk:
The resignation of current Prime Minister, Mr.
Mahatir Mohamad in October 2003 might cause some uncertainty of whether there
are some changing in laws and regulations regarding trade that might affect
foreign investor.
Legal risk:
So far as we know, Malaysia has done quite well
in enforcing anti-corruption and has tried to judge cases as equitable as
possible.
There are other risks to take note before entering into that
country.
